The Inaugural Corks & Forks was created in 2015 to serve a great need to fund our newest hospital, St. Vincent’s Medical Center Clay County. One hundred percent of the net proceeds from Corks & Forks will continue to be used to benefit St. Vincent’s Medical Center Clay County, which opened in October of 2013, as well as many wonderful community outreach programs. The needs for this community have been overwhelming. We treat an average of 841 patients each month! In 2015, Corks & Forks helped fund the brand new J. Wayne and Delores Barr Weaver Women and Infants’ Pavilion, which opened in August 2016. Proceeds from this year’s Corks & Forks will allow us to continue increasing hospital capacity, and also fund the outreach programs in Clay County like: Faith Community Nursing, The Way Free Medical Clinic, Green Cove Springs, Momentum, Mobile Health Outreach Ministry, Diabetes Management Program, Clay County’s Student Health Expo, and more. These programs simply would not be possible without your help and commitment.

Make a gift to St. Vincent’s HealthCare Foundation today!
St. Vincent’s HealthCare is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system that has served the people of Jacksonville and the surrounding area since 1916. Founded by the Daughters of Charity 100 years ago, we provide health services to those who are struggling the most in Northeast Florida. In 1982 the St. Vincent’s Foundation was established to enhance the current and future healthcare needs of this community by serving as a liaison between St. Vincent’s HealthCare and our family of generous donors. The Foundation is devoted to putting our commitment to philanthropy into action and supports more than a dozen community outreach programs, as well as capital building and equipment needs for St. Vincent’s Medical Centers located in Riverside, Southside, and Clay County.
Looking to the Future
Drawing on the rich, 100-year history of St. Vincent’s HealthCare, we are now embarking on a new journey – our next 100 years. The St. Vincent’s Foundation continues to provide funding for excellence in patient care for the entire community by establishing the Century of Service Fund. This fund will ensure that the technology and equipment needs of our operating rooms and clinical areas continue to be met.
Today, more than ever, St. Vincent’s HealthCare’s programs depend on gifts from our patients and friends. Your gifts can help tremendously in achieving the highest standard of healthcare for all those we serve. For more information on St. Vincent’s HealthCare or the Foundation, please call 904-308-7306.
